• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I picked up my 2013 RS-SE5 on Saturday. I managed to put close to 60 miles on the bike. I must say its a great machine, and I am thoroughly happy with my purchase.

Quick question for you all; I noticed the steering covering (black rubber) underneath the handlebars changed from black to a very faded, almost grey color due to heat. Its not a huge deal, but was wondering if this is normal or is there something I can use to restore it back to its color. I searched, but really couldn't find anything. Thanks for your help. Pat

Here's what I do..!!

on those parts I use WD-40 and it comes back to black. I don't have that from heat just sun and weather. Armorall also works well..

i got a can of sc1 high gloss clear coat. Works good so far on black panels & made for power sport stuff. Only issue is the kill switch has faded from sun and not sure what to use.

Thanks. Mine is defiantly not from sun yet, its only a few hours young. So I am wondering if it's defective. I feel heat coming though or up thru the base of handle bars so I assumed it was caused by heat. I'll call dealer today.
