• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:congrats: and enjoy. It will get easier an less intimidating riding on the freeway, as time passes.

Enjoy both the ride and your company.:yes:

You veteran riders will smile at this but going on the interstate for the 1st time today. Not far...maybe 20 miles...from Moncks Corner, SC to downtown Charleston and then Folly Beach. Only gonna be in the 60s..but Hey, I'm 62 and when your 50yr old girl friend wants to go to the beach...who am I to argue.:shemademe_smilie: My 2014RT LTD is the first bike of any kind that I have owned. New helmets, boots (normally wear tennis shoes)' bright orange fleece lined jackets and a tank full of gas! Gonna stop in downtown Charleston and take on the annual Greek Fest before hitting the beach. Wish the rookie luck!!:2thumbs:

Makes me reminisce about way back when I was 62......

you don't need any luck on the ride!!! :dontknow::dontknow: good luck with the girl friend though!! :2thumbs: or was that where you were asking for the luck for in the first place? :roflblack::roflblack:

:roflblack: She'll never let him answer that...

But if you break free, and want to answer: :lecturef_smilie: DON'T!

Ryding

I ride freeways if I have to or I'm in a hurry to get someplace but I love riding along enjoying the country side on old back roads. Have fun of you new :spyder2:.

SoCar

i always love riding our beautiful coastal roads... especially, Rt 17... for a nice trip, ride it down to Georgia and over the bridge in Brunswick.... OMG, what views... hopefully, the winds will be mild... i rode over her with both mild & wild.... and i'm here to tell ya, 'wild' gets you thinking of Jesus, Mary, Joseph and every saint that ever was or will be... St. Christopher save me... :roflblack:
enjoy your SPYD3R... you'll never find a more rewarding ride on this planet...
btw, i'm 66, so you have plenty of years left to ride...
