• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As everyone knows, my wife, Moabgirl bought a 2009 :spyder2: about 4 months ago. Today, Sunday June 27 at 0700 oclock, she was up and ready to do here first servicing of said :spyder2:. I had her do a 1000 mile check then we started on the 3000 miler. I pointed out and she did it. She was amazing. It was a lot cheaper than the dealer and if you read the manuel, you will see how fairly simple it is. Cant do the computer stuff but then there are no fault codes at this time. She is so cool. now she can do the service all the time. :ohyea::ohyea::popcorn::clap:

That is so cool! You are a good man helping you wife learn to do the services and inspections. There is nothing more satisfying than working on your own ryde.:2thumbs:

Is Moabgirl from Moab? We lived in Cedar City for three years going to school.

Yes she is from Moab. Went through high school then left for the Big City. Las Vegas, New York, Washington DC, Florida then back to Vegas, then here to Pahrump where we met and married and she learned to service her own.

Funny thing. A three hour drive to Las Vegas was done many times. Stayed all night and drove home the next morning. Never made it to the Grand Canyon. Kick myself for that.

Hubby surveyed out of Moab in '78 working our way through college. We rode though it in '02 heading towards the Four Corners area. Awesome canyons! Beautiful! Nothing like the red rock canyons and a sunset...

Now that Moabgirl is wrenching on her own, give her the space to do more. Never know what she will come up with next...:ohyea:
