First service

I called my dealer to get some information on the first service, I asked how much an oil change would be and they quoted me $140.00 which I thought was very reasonable, I then asked how much to install a BajaRon Sway bar and GPS navigation (service only) they said it would be an additional $280. I can turn a wrench but I figured if my Spyder was there already for service. Is this a decent deal? What do you think?

How much does your dealer charge for an hour of labor?
Mounting the anti-swaybar should take an hour or less...:thumbup:

They said 2 hours for sway bar and 1.5 hours for GPS.

I think I'm going to pull out my wrench. I will let them know that I think that's too long and see if I can negotiate.

As mentioned above, prices for installing accessories up to the dealer and your bargaining power. Getting an oil change and checkover for less than $350 is a good deal. :yes:
