• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First ride today

gkamer

Sadly passed away, December '23.
Got out on my first ride of 2022. A leisurely little seventy five mile jaunt. I must have gotten lazy during the off season, I was pretty stiff when I got back.

I agree, muscle memory isn't what it used to be .... I find if I just ride in a leisurely, I'm fine ..... however If I'm pushing it in a lot of twistie's I pay the price .... getting old ( &% ) S*cks :roflblack: .... Mike

Same problem here.... gentle stuff is easy, work it juuust a little harder & I know tomorrow's gonna be a right pain!

It's not actually the 'growing old' bit that gets to me, I can handle the years.... but this 'growing decrepit' stuff & wearing out various parts of my body really sucks big time! :banghead:

:congrats: Sore muscles or not, every ride is a good one.

Not to worry, I intend to... :)

Of course sitting in hibernation the past 5 months means my poor bike is in serious need of a spa treatment. That unfortunately will have to wait for slightly more fairer weather.

Mike you need to get you sleds back out, and the rest of you I don't know what to suggest!!! Work into it slow I guess!!! Took my first ride two weeks ago and now I am sledding in northern Maine, Retirment sucks, :roflblack::2thumbs:
