• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First Ride on a 1330 RT-S

Thanks for letting us in, on how things worked out!
As much as I love my 1330: my 998 lit the fire, and I wouldn't hesitate to ride one! :2thumbs:

Yes, I also looked at a 2016 RT Limited with the 1330 engine. The dealer wanted $12000 to trade, and I only have about 1800 miles on mine! I can't justify $12,000 to get an extra 9-10 miles per gal.

My dealer offered me $14K which I thought was a very fair trade in price. I have 11K miles with a ton of upgrades which might be why he quoted me on the high end.

Yes, the 998 is a very competent ride. I have no problem waiting another couple of years, but will be looking forward to the extra displacement and 6th gear of the 1330!

Don't think about it: you'll end up at a dealership, with your checkbook and title in hand... before you even know what happened! :yikes:

Admit it...your hooked..:roflblack: that is what test rydes are for....
:agree: My first spyder had the 998 engine, ( 2012RTS-SE5) it was like night/day.

I took a test ride ( @ Spyderfest in 2014, then the rest is history) on a 2014RTS-SE6 with the 1330 triple, and all of the major upgrades that BRP did, that sold me. Deanna
