• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. FIRST RIDE OF THE SEASON LAST THURSDAY

Woke the RT up last Thursday & went for a 50 mile ride. Temp was 58 degrees. Spyder ran great around town & then on the highway at 75 mph. Got home & left it outside because of - wait for it - GAS FUMES. I guess I was expecting it, but was nonetheless unhappy. So, today was another lovely day, thought I would ride the Spyder to do my errands, then another quick blast on the highway. Went into the garage & there was about a cupful of coolant on the garage floor. Considered getting my shotgun and putting the darn thing out of my misery, but instead I called my dealer to get a service appointment instead. Nothing available until April 14. :banghead::banghead:. So now, after 4 months of hibernation, I still can't ride. And, of course, the weather is looking good for the next 10 days. Murphy strikes again.

IF you do shoot the Spyder, I'll take the trailer off your hands!! :D

I'm still waiting for my first ride this year...

I am SERIOUSLY hoping the BRP fix that's coming next Month; ends your troubles! :2thumbs:

I also had my first ride on Thursday. I took BlackWydow up to Sherburne for a couple slices at "Joe and Vinny's" and back home, just about 50 miles. Rode to work on Friday morning, taking the long way to avoid state route 220 (read "the artillery range") and had to take the long way home to wash it after work. Tested my rain gear Friday morning and all seems to be in order. I will not be able to get it out much this week though, as our weather is supposed to be pretty bad. Hopefully things can be worked out for you, and we will see you on the road.

Just sayin'...........

Thursday( 4/2/15) I woke up my spyder got it out of hibernation WOHOO! it was a chilly ride in the 30's ( but I dressed for the ride) brought it home and did some farkling, then on Friday 4/3/15 .

Then on Friday 4/3/15 I took my 2nd ride on my spyder and did some errands. The weather temps were near 60. It felt good to back in the saddle again after a very loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooog winter. I have three thousand and 85 miles on it and planning on putting more miles on this riding season.

Everyone ride safe!

Today the weather was snowing but nothing on the ground. The next 2 weeks the weather is going to turn around for the good, WOHOO the temps in the 60's. Spyder riding time is here WOHOO! Deanna

I hope all your problems get fixed. We need to meet up for a ride with other CT Spyder Ryders.

I got my RT out of the trailer/storage yesterday. I see a "Brake Failure" error msg on the dash. No brake problem tho. I only have a carport so the low 40's temps keep me from investigating till MAYBE friday. Anyone else get this msg after storage?

Check brake fluid levels. Common at the first of the year. May work better after system is pressurized (ridden a bit).

Thanks. That is my plan IF it ever warms up. LOL Actually, Friday or Saturday might be warm enough. Hoping the "pressure" is the problem.
