• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First Ride Home

Yesterday morning early my wife and I went to dealership about 1 hour and a few minutes away and picked up new Blue Spyder RT_S. Dealership I must say was awesome, and so far seem very willing to do what it takes to make everything perfect.
We got about 2 miles from dealer and it poured. No one believed I was up to riding home in the rain. Well about an hour later it slowed to a drizzle and off I went. Had to get gas right off the bat, and then through town, and on to interstae. Went well, then I came to the last 25 miles of backroad, with twisties and and loose gravel. I must say the suggestions of using a light touch was awesome. I grabbed it a few times ,then let off my grip some and it handles great. Even through the rain I hardly got any water on me.
Need to figure my cruising RPMs out and when to shift, but everything seems fine that diversafied ride really tayght me alot. Thanks for the tips.

:welcome: and :congrats: on the new ryde. The spyder likes the 5000 rpms. There is a similar thread going now--you might check that out.
