• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First ride, cruise around town

I did my first ride on my Spyder today. Cruised around Costa Mesa and Newport Beach, CA. Stopped at Home Depot and had plenty of room in the "trunk" for two weather proof electrical outlet assemblies and some 3/4 PVC pipe fittings.

The weather was hot today and the Spyder air temp readout was over 90 so it always felt good to be moving. Wearing a T shirt - my bad.

I thought the ride was smoother than I expected and it felt more like a sports car than my two TW200 Yamaha trike conversions. I'm sure that was due to the big power difference. However, if I tried to ride the Spyder in some of the places I've ridden my TWTrikes, the Spyder would still be sitting out there somewhere ;D

I've now set the front shock preloads to maximum because I felt like it was too soft for my 240 pounds.
