First Month = 5,000 miles

I took delivery of Spyder #2 on May 15th. Today, it is one month old with 5,237 miles on the odometer. These are all cruising miles and would not be noteworthy if they were touring miles. In my world, touring is when you stay overnight and cruising is when you don't. I had no intention of riding it quite so much in the first month. It just happened. Normally, my cruising miles would be closer to 3,000.

Spyder #2 has been perfect in its inaugural month. Passing the 5,000 mile mark with no trouble whatsoever may indicate there were no gremlins riding along when it left the factory. It may also indicate there was no harm from the fact that it spent the first six months of its life in a shipping crate. I am optimistic for the future of Spyder #2.

I'm also very glad to hear that Spyder #2 is treating you well. You deserve a turn of good fortune after the fire. I can't imagine how distressing that was for you.

I just hit 12,000 miles yesterday. Had the Spyder for 14 months! I just LOVE this machine!!!
