• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FIRST MECHANICAL ADVENTURE

Had the machine out Sunday for a nice ride everything was fine. 3days of rain later, I start her up and the limp mode comes on (running a little rough and sounded and smelled like it was too rich). So I remember reading that if it is restarted it will reset. So 3 more tries no luck.
Call the dealer (50 mi away). The Mechanic tells me I have to bring it in to put it on the computer and he says it will not reset on its own. Hung up the phone and yelled Son of a Bitch to the sky.
Tried again and let it just run after about a minute light went out and it seems fine, will take her out in a bit.
Very disappointed in the mechanic telling that. Oh well guess he is supposed to get me in the shop, they are in business to make money.

Mechanic will always say "bring her in" for there is no way he can tell whats going on over the phone. I say do what you did and just ride it. The light go out or not and then you will know what to do next. :ani29:

Yeah, I have had unexpected codes come up on the RS-S, too, but I just reset the computer and ride through them. So far she always just resets and keeps on truckin!
