I just returned from a marathon ride on my Spyder Rt. My two sons and I left home at 6:00am on Friday Morning. We met up with some friends in Torrey Ut, then on to Monticello Utah where we spent the night. We returned home today through some beautiful country.
We went close to 1000 miles in the two days. I wondered how it would match up with the other bikes on the trip. Well it didn't take long to find out, on the twisters two wheels can't keep up.
Some claimed I rode too fast, but I noticed the Spyder will hang on like nothing else.
In two days of hard riding all I can say is this is one very fine machine. No problems great fun better than expected fuel economy. My two sons both ride Honda VTX 1800 bikes. Very fine machines. We got close to the same fuel economy. Some times I won some times they did. But very close to the same fuel mileage.
The big question most times was, how do you like it. There were several fellow rider's said they were thinking of buying a Spyder, and wanted to know how If there were any issues with the Spyder. I have none. This is the one vehicle that I own that I find excuses to ride. Each day I like it better.I am very happy that I purchased a Spyder.
