• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First issue with the 2014 demo

Well, I finally had an issue with the 2014 demo. I was headed home from work this morning (I work graveyard), a nice sunny day of 68 degrees, and when I came up to my freeway exit. The Spyder would just not let me get off the freeway:yikes: Finally when I hit 199 miles the bike finally let me get off the freeway to get gas. Total for one tank was 201.3 miles :yes:for 6.078 gallons on the eco mode. I plan on trying to go 215 before the next fill up.

I feel sorry for you, mine did something similar but not to the extreme yours did, BUT, i was embarrassed to tell anyone. :roflblack::roflblack:

So this is the excuse that everyone will use when they are 4 hours late coming home from work?

Better get used to seeing this when you finally get home.

LOVE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!!!

Airflow From Stock Windshield

What do you think of the vented stock windshield? It would seem that in cold weather you would get unwanted airflow and in wet weather you would get unwanted moisture since there or no vanes to close the vents. I'm waiting for my silver 2014 RT Limited to arrive and trying to decide if I should invest in the BRP adjustable vented windshield or maybe the F4 vented windshield.

Glad to see you are enjoying your 2014. I am looking forward to next month when I am supposed to pick mine up.

Wow, that was great! I had a problem too today with my 2014. I was trying to see how fast it would go and it wouldn't go fast enough. :yikes: There was a pretty good headwind and I could only get it to 93 in 6th gear. I didn't get the opportunity to try it on the way home so I'll have to wait for another day. We rode a nice 300 mile day for lunch in Utah.

Maybe that's my reason to wait until I retire to get mine. This could be a real problem if it happened on the way to work! :yikes:

You will not notice any difference from the solid windshield or the cutout one except that your windshield will no longer fog up. Good upgrade.
