• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First Day of Fall

Gee, Scotty the photo in your sig with snowmbile suit & full helmet looks like you'd be immune to such things ....

:roflblack: I have the riding gear, but I like to think I have more sense than that. I don't like lightening and I don't like hail. I can live with 50 degrees and/or rain.

After work last night the wife and I decided to go for a ride. Left our house at 6:30pm and drove into Bangor. Ate at a local resturant and left there at 8:30. The temp was 59 degrees f, no wind. It was a nice ride. In another week or two the leaves up here should be near or at peak color. Can't wait. Bad thing about fall is the loss of daylight. Bruce

We did 75 miles today. Ran into rain at the high elevations--above the tree line--but other than that, had some patches of blue sky along with the clouds. 60% chance of rain today and tomorrow. We have had 7 days of almost constant rain--so the rivers here are flooding all over the place.

High winds again today so when we got back, all the leaves had blown down from my trees. How's that for a fast fall? :roflblack:

Snow next week and 30*f. :yikes: :roflblack:

:agree: Snow usually comes to my area before the second week of October--the way the weather has been here lately, I feel like I am on borrowed time already. I put the :ani29:'s away when my access road becomes snow covered.

Went on an 80 mile ryde today...temp was in the low 80s and the humidity wasn't bad. You can tell it's fall in my neck of the woods because it's time to see about turning on the pool heater so we can still swim at night...

Fall

We actually had one overcast 98 degree day this month. Most days continue to be around 107/108. We'll be planting spring flowers in another month or two :roflblack:
