There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. First day back

Well this is my first day back to the SpyderLovers forum since I left for the LA trip. I've read through all my unread posts in all the other threads and now its time to read the Spyder General Discussion. Only 9 pages of posts to read through... I'll have to tackle this reading over a couple of days.

I just want to start of with, it's good to be back home, it was great riding with lamonster, bajaron, Repops, and effgjamis on the way to LA. Thanks for showing us around a bit on our off day smokster and meeting up with Spanky and blackwidow (?). Thanks also to all those who specifically sought us out to meet us just to say hi, chat or give us little gifts. All you Indy riders who met us the first day (in the rain or later, on the highway) and you Missouri riders who gave us the pony express escort across your (hot and humid) state were greatly appreciated. We had a nice visit in Pamona and ride into the Sheraton with Gail and Gary(?). I really enjoyed hanging out with Hawkii and his wife (Debbie also ?) Friday evening and Saturday morning. I wish I was better at remembering names so I could mention everyone (and get the correct names) in this post. :opps: I sincerely appreciate everyone who I met and talked with on the trip and apologize to those who I didn't mention specifically in this post. It was great fun and great meeting all of you. :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Whoa...You rode to L.A.?

Cool!

How was it? Anything interesting happen, like, with your trailer or license plate or anything?

(Welcome back, bro'.)

Also enjoyed the blogs, videos and pics. Lived vicariously through you guys the whole way. Much gratitude for doing writeups after very long days on the Spyders.

Glad you got home safe and sound.

:agree:
Very nice meeting you and Deb in Omaha. Hope we can do it again .
Glad you both arrived home safely.

Dang, how could I have not mentioned the Omaha stop? :banghead: You guys were great. We had a nice lunch and visit with you all. We continued on from there almost to Iowa City but once my GPS started telling me I was 500 miles from home, I decided to talk Deb into finding a motel to stay in for the night. We ended up being about 20 miles out from Iowa City and got a good nights sleep for the final push home.

hmmm..... where's that "I know nothing" link that comes up on occasion..... :D

ps. next trip, you guys should ride with us. We only hit rain one day out of the eleven days. It wasn't cold either, but it was a bit cool Tuesday morning when we first got out of Salt Lake City. It went from 68° in Salt Lake to about 50° just on the other side of the mountains in Park City. We had to break out the jacket liners and warmer gloves for about two hours that morning.

MM

It was great to meet and hang out with you guys. Hopefully we'll get to meet again this year if you can swing a day or two at the Gatlinburg event this fall.

Hi, Brian. It's Gayle and Jerry. ;) It was great fun meeting you and Deb and it was amazing that we caught up with you still at the campground. I could have cried when we drove up in our driveway at home on July 5. I was sad it was all over. What an amazing trip!

Gayle

Glad you made it back safe and sound. Really sorry about your trailer...but it was fun knocing a hole it it!

I guess I'll start carrying a claw hammer in my M/C repair kit! You just never know.

Keeping up with Deb is a challange! That girl can ride! Love her style!

Have a great summer!

Thanks, yeah, well...It would've been six out of eleven rain with the other five snow days if we had come! I think I must have unknowingly paid for the special "storm machine" option on my Spyder--Have you seen weather maps of New England this summer?!

Glad you all are safe and home.
