• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:gaah:We rode in Florance SC on Friday and it was cold, parked the bic in the trailer and it running normal. Pulled the trailer home to Morganton on Sat. Sunday is was warm so I backed the bic out of the trailer for a ride. When I started it did not start right, it spit and misfired and idled rough. I rode down the drive and it felt like it was in limp mode as it had no power and idled real rough and died several times. I turned it off before heading back to the house. Started it and it was back to normal, idle perfect and power back. Went for the ride and everything was ok

What would cause this problem? When and could it happen again? It always started after it died, had no power but it least I could get home.

Any comments will be appreciated.

Maybe the bouncing of the trailer has something to do with it.:dontknow:
I'Ve had the same problem trailering carbureted bikes and ATVs, The bouncing around would sometimes cause the floats in the carbs to flood the engine.
But this shouldn't happen with the Spyder because it has FI. not Carbs.
So I would check to make sure all your relays are fully seated and tight.

I have had similar experiences that never happened again and I write it off to software grelims. Seriously the number of lines of code that runs a Spyder is mindboggling. How often does your PC freeze up or hiccuP. The Spyder has become somewhat more similar to a computer than a traditional motorcycle
