• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Leaving tomorrow morning for Deadwood SD for two days riding with our annual testosterone ride. (All guys). Usually have 12 to 15 bikes. Sheridan Wy on Saturday to meet up with our brides. (5 bikes). Dubois WY on Sunday.
Cody WY and Yellowstone on Monday. Miles City MT on Tuesday night. Home Wednesday. Probably about 1700 miles. Currently have about 550 miles on 2021 RTL. Wife is already planning the next trip into Minnesota later in the summer. Hoping for no rain.

Congrats on the new Spyder. Sounds like a great trip. I was up in the Deadwood area last summer for a week then over to Iowa and Missouri to visit friends, then back home to AZ. Going to Sturgis this August for the Rally, but haven't decided on which route back home. Haven't done Yellowstone for a few years now, so maybe this year.

Enjoy:firstplace::riding::riding::riding::riding::congrats: being first “big” ride don’t try to push yourself too much, keep within enjoyable & will learn few tricks to get further on next trip. (Helps just walking a lap around stations at gas stops)

Coming off a big Indian roadmaster I have learned all about gas station stops. Will be so much easier this trip with the Spyder. All stops will be easier.

I still have my 2019 Indian Roadmaster. I love the bike still, but boy do I have my days where it's heavy....very hot....and very loud. I agree the Spyder is easier on trips.

Sounds like a great ride to break-in the Spyder. Great riding in the Black Hills and the temperatures should still be nice.

About the no rain thing…. Looks like showers the next 5 days. Had a ride after church set up to go to Sugar Shack on Hwy 385 but will probably have to cancel.

Yep, You'll never forget to put your kickstand down again, :2thumbs: Come visit us in Minnesota and let us know when you're coming! We have a couple Spider groups that plan and take group rides all over the state.

Paddy, I almost forgot, June 18th, many riders, Spyders and all other types will be riding the 2022 Smackdab Summer Solstice ride from the Geographic center of the lower 48 to the Geographic Center of North America, (which for the purposes of this ride is Rugby, ND) I'll be riding solo from S. Central MN, down to Lebanon, KS for the start at dawn on Saturday, then we ride up 281 and over to Rugby for the finish. Just a fun day in the sun!
