• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First Aid

Does anyone carry a First Aid kit? I'm putting one together. I carry basics in my car and looking for a pouch to have in my RT. What do you have for a pouch and what's in it? Show some pics if you got them.

I found a small first aid kit that's in a pouch the size of a small point and shoot camera case. It has all the usual odds and ends you'd expect. Got it at Target for only a few bucks if I remember right. I carry one in all my vehicles.

I throw one that was marketed to campers into my bike. It's really compact.
I added more bandages, and left out the aspirin, the water purifying pills, and the bug bite stuff.

Build what you need

Travel case bandaids ,8oz hand sanatiser, & liquid bandage. Spray on sunblock, dentistix. Have looked @ camp gear first aids kits. But redneck in me, I tend to not need much. (Dont "need" what I carry, just has been handy). Zippo lighter ,flashlights, Duct tape, 6' ratchet straps, various tools, fishing rod.

Jumping in...

I agree with the gloves..also 4x4 pads as well as a bandana. But adding some maxi pads (feminine product) will aid in stopping the blood loss from deep wounds. I pack a few in my ice fishing first aid kit.
