• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finding 12 volts on a 2014 RT

I have a Garmin Zumo from my previous bike that I would like to carry over to the Spyder. All I need is 12 volts. We use Sena headsets so bluetooth takes care of the audio. I see there is a 5 amp, switched ACC fuse, but I have no idea where the wire is, that it feeds.

under the seat right side panel behind the gas tank is were the GPS connections get hooked up..But you can use a switched 12 volt on the bike too..

If your RT has a radio. There is a switched 12V power for the GPS located at the right rear of the fuel tank. Also the plug for the gps audio to radio is there too.

If you have the base RT then the harness for the 12v power plug in the front trunk is unused. You can tap into there. It is located behind the front trunk.

I have the 590 mounted on my 2014 RT on right hand side using power from temp gauge that is behind the instrument cover. Powers off when key turned off . Mounted with Ram short mount and KradleLock and KapLock.
