• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally!

Well I finally got the necessarry mods done on the spyder to enable me to ride again.
Installed the ISCI handbrake (nice piece of engineering there!) and a Pingel electronic shifter. Got it all buttoned up and got it out on the street. Might take a lil gettin used to and a little tweakin but Im on my wway back to "normal" soon! Rode it to the dealer this weekend to get it caught up on services, recalss, updates, etc.

I also got to sit on an RT while at the dealer. Gotta say that it really didnt interest me at first, as I like the "sport touring" quality of my GS, but after sitting on the RT, I was fairly impressed with the ergonomics of it. I played around a little with the bags and stuf, and gotta say it didnt seem to be real "tight" on the quality control of the latches, etc. To be honest though, I dont know if this was a production bike or one of those non running demos I heard about.

hey little john: Must be ready 4 ride to daytona :2thumbs: who all will be riding down with u:doorag: will you'll be here 2-28 for the "BIG" meet n greet @ Down The Hatch with Southern Cruisers:yes::cheers:

I wish we were, but wont be arriving until that afternoon / evening. Looks like weve got a big group comin this year from the Conroe Chapter. Weve got a house on the intercoastal for the week, and will probably have another burger burn at the house one day that week. Watch the forums on the SCRC sites for more info.

Glad you are able to ride again. I agree with you on the RT. The guys at Land 'n Sea let me ride one for a couple hours. I liked all the bells and wistles, and comfort. But I still like the sporty look and feel of my SM5.
