FINALLY - She's HOME and she's BEAUTIFUL

Well, it seemed like it was a L-O-N-G time coming.
I ordered my "Baby Blue" in October and I brought her home yesterday.
What a dream machine. I left my '08 RS at the dealership and rode my new baby home...... I have to say what a nice feeling.

Here's to many new kilometers (or miles, when I venture Stateside)

If you want to see her, she'll be at Americade for the week. Looks like I'll need to change my Avatar !

Was there a reason why it took 6 months, or is that a normal lead time if you order one?
I apologize if I'm prying, but I'm just curious about the long wait from time of order.

Well, so far the only picture is the PRofile and Avatar. I'll be postinga couple once I have a little pinstriping done.
As for the rYde difference..... It sure feels different. Mostly in the corners where the upright seating postion changes my "Lean" into the corner. Over all the main difference is COMFORT. I love it! a little more torque and it seems to have a little less acceleration. It is still pretty new to me, but I know that I will really enjoy the Touring mode and cruise control.

Congrats StarCruiser. Man that was a long wait ( well worth it I'm sure ) :thumbup:. We will see it first hand at Americade if we don't cross roads sooner . I've herd they are using better shocks in the 2012s I know on our 2011 we went with Elkas all around as it tended to plow into corners with-out the Elkas .

There seemed to be a delay because it was Quantum Blue. The RT-S was available in the "new" colours first to get them on the showroom floor. I could have had delivery of Viper Red about four months earlier. The Bronze LTD was on the showroom floor (No White ones). So I have my RT-S with 660 Zumo. Too bad there were no Quantum Blue LTDs. I would have ordered one. I am loving this one, even more than my RS. Prolly looking at the 1000km service next week!
