• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally put on NMN risers......

Well earlier this week I finally got around to buying the 3" risers from NMN, I already had the 1" brp riser on the Spyder. I took a long time debating about buying them because I wasn't sure if I liked the looks and I really didn't want to cut my bars if I wasn't going to like the risers.

Well I got home today and the package was there. Total it took me about 2.5 hours maybe less to get them on. No problems with cable length and I only wasted about 20 minutes trying to get the reverse cable back in place.

Now that I've put them on and test rode them my only regret is that I waited 11,000 miles and 8.5 months to put them on. They make the ride so much better and are what I would say are the single best addition to the Spyder.

A big kudos to Magic Man and his crew for their excellent products and great customer service.

I can't agree because I don't have them:(

I've gotta say this is the best mod I've put on any of my bikes. Most mods you'll notice a subtle difference whether it be a seat or a windshield. But with the risers it is an absolute complete change in the ride, for the better. Steering is a lot lighter, better leverage on the bars, so the Spyder feels way more responsive. Now I've just gotta be careful to not roll it in a turn.

Absolutely agree.
From the stress taken off my wrists to my poor old back being able to straighten up - the 4" risers have been one of the best investments I've made so far.
:2thumbs:

Well, Sleepman, I was going to tell you "told you so" but I won't.

They are great... and I am glad you finally have given they a big try.

I told Ev I was 6'2" and he recommended the 4 inch risers.

I thought, gee, that's awful high.

And stock wasn't so bad.

I got the three inch risers from NMN.

They are absolutely terrific, especially combined with highway pegs.

After a quick five hour ride today, it was so comfortable compared to stock, I think I shouldv'e opted for the four inch risers...

Just my $.02
