• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The wife and I left this morning and arrived in Quebec city around 16:00. Checked into out hotel and went cruising thru the old city. We both commented on how clean this city is. Tomorrow we will be doing the touristy thing. Then off to Matane and then on to Perce and then to Cambellton NB, and finally home on Friday. Have to go to a wedding next Saturday and then off for a week in Nova Scotia.

Today, took the ferry across the St. Lawerence river and took a tour of the Citidel. Very impressive srtucture. Walked around the boardwalk and took all the sites in. Weather was great. Not used to all the walking. Had a great time. Tomorrow on to the Gaspe'.

Some pictures would be great if you have them. Was there in 1997 and loved it.

Sorry no pics. Camera quit. Also cell phones do not work here in the Gaspe'. We are getting ready to leave Matane and we are heading for Gaspe' and then on to Perce'. Spyder thru a code yesterday after we crossed a temporary bridge and corner. DPS and check engine and Limp mode. Stopped and checked all fuses and relays. Found 3 relays in the frunk to be loose, pushed them in and waited a few minutes and started it up and no problems since. Keep you posted.

Made it to Perce' last night, just made it before the rain came. Rained all night. Beautiful place. This morning we left Perce' and made it back to the Maine. Will be home tomorrow night. One thing that amazed us was the amount of Spyders in the Gaspe', we stopped counting after 30. This morning we caught up and rode with a Spyder club from Ottawa. There was eight of us in a row. It was fun. They were a very nice bunch of people, as all Spyder riders are. Every Spyder we met waved.. Head a great ride. This afternoon as I was going up a hill and turning left, the Spyder went into Limp Mode, DPS and Check Engine, again. Checked all fuses and relays all secure. Removed key and waited a few minutes and then Spyder reset and off we went. After arriving back in Maine we are Staying overnight in Ft. Kent, Maine. Spyder dealer is 200 yards away. They will look at it tomorrow morning. I'll keep you posted.

Ah.!! vacation...

sounds like you are having a great one. To bad your camera and phones are not capturing any of it but your memory will...ride safe and enjoy the wedding. Waiting to hear about the Nova Scotia trip..!! :ohyea:

Finally made it home today. 1,400 miles in 5 days. Not a record breaker, but it was the wifes longest ride so far. Stopped by the Syder dealer this morning and he hooked up the Spyder to the computer. The code that showed up was the first one they had seen. Tech went to the BRP knowledge base and it said that a driver input, that the nanny did not like caused the faults. They said drive it. If it happens again to let them know. :dontknow:
