• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally, I fixed the Seat release on my RT! Video

I was wondering if I should replace my cable with a new one, but after reading about how mutch hassle to get there, I will not bother.

Well my foreign friend.... another clever idea!! After the fantastic 3d printed trunk holder I really didn't expect another innovation from you! I've had 4 in total trunk supports printed in the last few years ... 3 for me and one giveaway. I will now attempt this current seat revision but hopefully just replacing the spring will do the trick for my current situation. I hate to wish any issues on your RT, but it seems you're adept at coming up with great solutions!! Thank you!!

Hi again my friend and thank you for the kind words.
Glad your trunk lid holders are put to good use and that others also can benefit
Tomorrow (Monday) I will take the RT to my local dealer and collect the new seat strut, the old one holds nothing anymore and that is no fun when fueling. But I made a 3D print for that as well ;)

Hope life finds you good and wish you a great season with lots of great rides. And you are quite welcome sir.

Btw, this was my weak strut 3D fix.
A "halfpipe" that clips on the piston when it is fully extended. When not in use, it just lay under the seat.

Martin, Excellent modification to correct a common issue! Nicely done, and no apologies necessary, your English is way better than most of our Norwegian.
