• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally finished the video...here it is. Hope you enjoy!

Great video and accompanying music. :2thumbs: A few years back, I had a chance to drive through New Mexico and really liked the scenery. Drove south from Colorado, saw Mt. Capulan National Monument and then drove south to the highway that goes by Albuquerqe and on into Arizona and Nevada.

There is just something special about the scenery there.

I don't do the facebook thing--so apologize for that.

Thanks for the feedback & for those that gave me a "like" on FB. It's a longshot, but I'm crossing my fingers!
Let me answer the questions some of you asked:

Editing Software: I use Final Cut Pro for the time lapse photography. I'm not good enough with it yet (it's pretty complicated) to use it for anything else (YET!). For everything else I use iMovie on my Macbook.

Yes--the time lapse shot from the top of the mountain is the Sandia Tram. The longest aieral tramway in the world.

Sorry mx2600...I like the song "Hurt" as well. Sorry that you were "hurt" by my song selection. :roflblack:

Copyright: I do a couple of things nowadays to make sure I'm giving credit to the artists. I give them credit in my description of the video and I also give them credit in the video itself. I also do test uploads under another YouTube account and make sure it doesn't get blocked. I have learned that the hard way!

Great job on the video, very nice editing. The New Mexico scenery was great as usual and the music fit well with the video. Sorry, I don't do Facebook, either.

That was a good one.

I was glad to see you respond in a joking manner. After I posted my comments I was worried you might take my complaint seriously. It was meant as a joke and not a real complaint at all.

Again, great job on the video and song choice. If I was a member of FB I would definitely give you a like.

Really nice video. I really need to get me one of those cameras. And sunsets in NM are still beautiful.

Great video and I love the all the differnent shots. Looks as if you had a full camera crew shooting for you. You also did a terrific job at editing this video with and I know this took a lot of time in the doing.

Johnny Cash , well the best of the best.

Ditto. Great job.

I just wanted to say thanks to those that gave me a like on the Drift page. I got beat by a skydiver that put a camera on their foot. Oh well, c'est la vie, 'nest pas? And to those that don't FB--thanks for the comments. You guys are really encouraging!

Thanks again!!

Best,
