• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, after trying to convince myself that the F3T was ugly, had no significant storage, and was overly hyped, I decided to take the plunge. Made a sale on my RT yesterday (guy picking it up tomorrow), and worked out a nice trade in on my 2012 RSS. Now all I have to do is wait the 2-3 weeks for delivery from I-Motorsports. I know this will be one of the longest 3 weeks of my life, but atleast I have the RSS to keep me company until they deliver my new 2016 F3T:yes:. Did a deposit today and will be wiring the remaining money when the information is sent to me.

Thanks guys. One of my biggest concerns was the lack of storage. Then a friend reminded me by asking how much storage did I have on my other bikes before purchasing the RT:sour:? I guess grocery shopping on the bike kind of spoiled me over the past 2 1/2 years. Now I will have to decide what farkles I will be adding. At the top of my list right now will be heated grips (yes, another issue that I have from being spoiled by the RT), backrest, and floor boards. Maybe a trailer hitch for those longer trips.

:D It's all a matter of the chosen farkles... :2thumbs:
With the right ones: you only have to show up at home, when the neighbors start complaining about how bad your lawn looks!

Congrats on your new purchase.

I purchased mine last year in July and have been slow to Farkle. I added a cup and phone holder immediately then a garmin mount.

Now I have TricLED lights, fobo, decals from Wrap My Spyder, and a idler pulley collecting dust from Christmas waiting to be installed soon.

Last week and today - I purchased BRP passenger and driver backrests used from here and FB.

I am hopeful that once all of these things are installed I am done feeding the bear. :sour:

When I got my RT-S last year I worked with Youthera at Imotorsports & he was very helpful. Answered all my questions & even went out to get pictures of my new ride after it was unpacked. I think it took longer to get all the paperwork processed than the actual delivery time. You'll need to give your new toy a bath when it gets there. Mine was filthy from road grime sneaking into the trailer. :congrats:

Your in great company...:2thumbs: sadness comes when you see the RSS leave.....😭
I believe you might be right, but I will manage. My biggest regret is that I didn't get to take it to the mountains for a day trip on the twisties. I did get on Old Liberty Rd. outside of Asheboro, but it is not the same.
I would like to add that there has been quite a bit of heat coming from the RSS (as compared to my RT) on the past few days when the temps hit 80. If that was a sign of things to come, I might be very happy that I am getting rid of the RSS.

Resistance is futile! You will be assimilated!

Add a pair of Shad bags and you will have plenty of storage.
