• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally did it!

After a couple of years looking, researching and negotiating, I finally took the plunge. I picked up my 2016 RT limited yesterday. I must say the information on this forum is great, almost too great though. If someone reads this forum only they may think the spyders are unreliable and prone to failure based on many comments here. My need to switch from my Goldwing to the spyder is health related, so the choice was fairly easy to us since my SO doesn't like the looks of a conventional trike. I'm excited about my new ride and hope to see more of us out the on the road. I have a pic to post but working on rotating it, it'll be up soon. Chris

Congrats on your new Spyder!

I guess people should post more threads about the miles and miles of trouble free driving they do to offset the complaint posts so potential new owners don't get the wrong idea. Or maybe not because they are having too much fun to post the good news here *lol*.

Congratulations and welcome! If you have been reading this forum you know the rules.

if there is no picture, it did not happen!

Congrats ...!

I too recently purchased a 16 RT limited and after 40 years of two wheels I need to tell you I'm still after 500 mi. feel like I'm getting familiar with it. It's a great machine and fun and comfortable to ride and handles well two up. Congrats and enjoy ..!

NEW SPYDER OWNER

:congrats: ...... if your Spyder already HAS car tires on it .... for the best performance they can give you, keep the air pressure at about 15 psi on the fronts and 18 psi for the rear  ....... This does NOT apply if you still have KENDA's ...... Mike

:welcome: :congrats: my Spyder has been flawless, other than a bit of oils in cluster gauges, but it was replaced. 3000 miles so far, first service today.

HEY!

AND you got the BEST color!! Light touch on the bars, ease into it. You will love it! W much prefers the back seat to the ones on our Beemers. For me knee issues required 3 wheels, and after years of playing with hers, there was no choice what to get.

Many miles and smiles to you!!

Congratulations. ...🎉🎊🎖

Glad you saw the big picture on this site. Congrats on the new ryde..:2thumbs: you both are going to love it....welcome..!!

:welcome: and :congrats: Typical forum stuff regarding complaints. Complaints vs. good stuff are usually posted about 10 to 1. Those that like the :spyder2: and are having to much fun--are usually riding and not posting as much.

There are a few of us that visit the forum regularly, regardless. I look at myself as an equal opportunity abuser. I have said stuff on both sides--but my run with the :spyder2::ani29::f_spider:'s has been mostly good. I still ride both mine on a regular basis, and I have not had many mechanical issues in over 130,000 :ani29: miles. Call me a happy customer.
