• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Since April when I picked up my new sts the bike has been shutting down and stalling , so many times I took the bike back to the dealer and all I heard from the techs is , " if we can not duplicate the problem then there is nothing to fix " well thanks for one tech who had common sense to seek the help from BRP about a tech bulletin that BRP has and states that they recognize the problem , THE PURGE valve hope I am saying it right .

Which I believe I too read that on here some where . But when I mention the valve thing to the techs they looked at me like if I had two heads ,

will be picking bike up next week.

Fingers crossed..!!

that that will be it. Sadly your are the best tester seeing as the techs can seldom duplicate the problems we go with. Hope you have many a mile before you have to go back for anything...!!

Awesome

Can you tell me when you fill w gas do you stop when it clicks or do you regularly try to put a bit more in?

Some are saying the purge valve can go bad from overfilling too often?

Now I stop when it clicks

The one tech that seems to know the bike did say not to over fill , but I also notice I fill up more frequently when I really get on and crank the throttle on those want to be fast nothing will hold me back days , lol. When riding easy my fill ups are not that frequent .

Next week turned into a month ,

Just picked up my sts today, after a month of it being in the shop , for a got dam purge valve , omg all I gots to say is that the motorcycle mall in Belleville nj sucks , so many excuses and fighting with the service department since April .

Bike ran great today , has not shut off . BUT now when I hit the red kill switch to the on position I am hearing a lot of static , like if the radio was on . But then again i do not have a radio , Then when I turn it off I here like air rumbling . These noises where not there before .

Every time I have taken the bike to the dealer , the bike come back with a new noise or issue , tomorrow I am going for a ride to see if I can get the gremlins out .

Has any one experience these noises,
does any one of a dealer with a good service dept .

Time to take bike to another dealer ,
