Finally Broke The Barrier!!

The missus and I took an overnight trip to Northwestern NJ on Friday. For the FIRST TIME the RT cracked the 30 mpg barrier! Got 31.147 mpg to be exact. 123 miles, took 3.949 gallons, so I had quite a bit of fuel left, even though the analog gas gauge was almost buried at empty. Totally inaccurate gauge. 90% of the ryde was on Interstate highways with the cruise set at 73. Mileage has most definitely improved since the ECM upgrade. Great ride & great weather. Looking forward to the next trip.

glad your mileage has improved. It does get better in time. Your new level will not be constant but heres the thing, my happiest moment in the mpg's was when I finally just pumped the expensive high test gas and rode with out worrying about mileage. In the end it made no difference....ryde on..!! hyea:hyea:
