Fighting the rain

I sold my Honda Goldwing and bought a 2012 RTS SE5 it has a CalSci windshield XL. I was riding with 2 of my friends that have Goldwings and it started raining hard. The rain on there bikes would go over there heads at higher speeds but on mine it did not happen. I had my windshield in the highest position and the rain would hit me direct on my face is there a better windshield that deflects the rain over your head or does it work better if it is lower. I sit different on the spyder than I did no my Goldwing maybe I need to buy a shield for my helmet. Did anyone else have more wind and rain hit them with the spyder than the bikes they had in the past?

Doesn't hit me in the face. I have a 2012 RTS with the stock windscreen.

Why does your bike have a Cal Sci on it? The OEM screen actually does a decent job of shovelling the rain higher up and voer you at speed... :thumbup:

I replaced the stock windshield with a calsci XL I read here that it would reduce the wind.

Ahh... But you NEED the wind to take the rain up and around you. Try it with the stocker back in place... :2thumbs:

Thank you I still have the stock windshield I will change it back and wait for rain and this year it seams to rain every other day.

Are sitting above the windshield? You'll learn more here from other SL. good luck and make sure you have eye protection. You'll see better if you have your eyes open while riding.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
