• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

APRIL 18 - FFSF 2009 WORLDS LARGEST POKER RUN - World’s Largest Poker Run, The Fallen Firefighter Survivors Foundation 2009 “Worlds Largest Poker Run” will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2009. This event, endorsed by the Red Knights Int’l Motorcycle Club will be held in 10 states at over 36 locations. This unique experience will be authenticated by the Guinness Book of Records as truly becoming a world record event. Originating in Winter Haven Florida the concept has rapidly grown. The Red Knight participating Chapters have now extended into Alabama, Louisiana, Maryland, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Washington. Each planned event will begin at 10 AM in their respective areas. Bikes, trikes, cars and trucks, everyone is w_elcome. As you already know, a number of Line of Duty Deaths occurs each year within the United States. This past year alone there were 115. Founded in 2008, the Fallen Firefighter Survivors Foundation’s purpose is to offer immediate financial assistance to the families of any firefighter paid or volunteer killed in the line of duty within the United States. It is our goal to be there for these families when needed most. Come and join us in honoring those brave man and women that have made the ultimate sacrifice.
