• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Out for a night ride and boy are the red led on the fenders bright. Anyone else notice this and is there a simple fix. I can live with the slight glare from below but........

Fender Lights

Are you talking about the mud flap lights on the back side of the fender?

If that's the case, then I had the same problem. Just too distracting for me.

I cut some "flaps" out of inner tube rubber about an inch wide and super glued them to the top of the light housing. Problem solved, for me anyway.

 What type of helmet (if any) are you wearing?
The chinpiece on my modular helmet blocks any view of the lower fenders.

...But that' not where I should be looking anyway! :D

I have Custom Dynamics front fender lights. The reds are pretty bright and I thought it was just mine. Go figure.

I have Tric-Led red fender LED with safety reflector design and they are not to bright. Here is a picture:

Same lights yup next night out i'll take a few pics and post them here. I'm look at maybe putting some tape (see through smoke color)??
see if that helps

If you just installed them you should give it a while and I think you will get used to them.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I had mine installed and I was very conscious of them. Now I don't pay any attention to them at all.
And if you haven't noticed, the RT will seem lopsided until you light up the side reflectors on the rear bags.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong, and I'm sure someone on this forum will let me know.

:agree: Somebody WILL let you know! :roflblack:
(Back to the O.P.:)
Ann is right; you just need some time to adjust to the new Farkle! nojoke

Pictures from last night. I'm going to give them a call on Monday and talk to there tech dept. I still think this is too much.

Custom dynamics just sent me an email that I can use a resistor to lower the brightness and there is nothing wrong with them

When you get the resistor be sure that your FM radio stations are clear.

I had the LED'S installed on my spyder( 2014 rts-se6) The FM radio stations were static, than I got a resister that took care of the problem. Deanna
