Guys and Gals, we've had our new RT Limited Spyder just over a month now and have 1500 miles on it. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but I could really use some help with a problem that has developed when I ride. Ee have a 2015 RT Limited with a stock seat but I've added the Diamond R armrests, Utopia back rest and Lamonster road pegs. I'm a musclular 5'7" and 200 pounds and 64 years old. I am in decent shape as I can work hard everyday doing physical labor and can lift heavy items with little to no problems. I can paddle a Kayak for miles so my problem is just not being in bad physical condition.
When I ride the Spyder I can go about 40 miles when, as best I can describe it, I get hip pain in both hips....sometimes leading to cramps around my hips.
At about 40 miles my hips feel very stiff and when I get off the Spyder I am ready to walk it off for sure. I'm not sure if I may be doing something wrong or perhaps there is something else I might try to help with this problem. My wife riding behind me could ride a hundred miles without problem. The Spyder handles well so I don't think there is anything wrong with it but I sure would like to be able to ride more than 40 miles at a time....
The footboards are slightly angled down in the front.
Any ideas that might help with this problem? Thanks in advance for any and all help....
