• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

At least rain doesn't collapse roofs like snow does. We've had quite a few flat roofs on storage sheds, feed sheds, airplane hangers, old buildings, etc. suffer from roofs collapsing from record heavy snow. A neighbor used his big John Deere tractor with a dozer on front and a scraper on back to clear the neighborhood streets sidewalk to sidewalk, twice as wide as the city crew had plowed. The snow pile across the street from me is a good 10' high.

The more I read, the more I fall in love with Florida.

We're definitely leaving New York, as soon as is possible! nojoke
Between the weather, the Politics, and the increasing rate of urban sprawl: I'm pretty fed up with this ****-hole! :gaah:

If you folks see a sudden price increase in onions blame it on the snow. SW Idaho/Eastern Oregon area provides nearly all the onions for the US from November to March. Several onion sheds have collapsed around here. I heard today that around 150 buildings of all sorts have collapsed from snow in about a 40 mile long area on the Idaho/Oregon border.

Well Gene the bright side is Gov. Jerry Brown declared this morning the drought is over in California!
:D
