As it stands now, Fred Rau still plans on being in Houston on Sunday, March 6th around 4 or 5 p.m. I've mentioned to him about meeting up with him in Columbus since he'll be coming down Hwy 71 to I-10.
Those of you interested in joining in, let's plan on meeting at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, March 6th at the Flying J Truckstop in Brookshire at I-10 and Hwy 359 (Waller Ave.) KSU at 10:30. Take a leisurely ride up to Bellville, New Ulm, Frelsburg and on to Hwy 71. We'll have a late lunch at Nancy's Steakhouse south of I-10 on Hwy 71 and wait for Fred there. If he's own schedule, he should be getting there around 2 or 2:30. We can visit with him and then ride on into Houston. He's staying overnight at a Days Inn on I-10 and Bunker Hill.
The weather Sunday is supposed to be sunny and in the 60's, so who's in for this?
