• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I called the shop that's got my RT and they're saying that they'll get to it in February...

This is now seriously cutting into my WinterTime Projects timeline and I'm getting ready to boot the cat through the screen door!

I realize that I'm just one guy with one bent bike... but it's been two months already! Give Me A :cus: ing BREAK!!!
Rant is now over... We return you to the Arts...:opps:

Why? Are the parts coming by stagecoach and the pony died, or was the ship they were coming on destroyed by Romulans?

Sorry to hear that. The Ice Road Truckers must be slacking off on the deliveries since they are manning it up on the dangerous roads of other countries in the off season.

That is a lot of bad baloney though, when they put you off and say they will get to it in February. I would not bet on that either.

They would not like me if this was my bike we were talking about. You are handling this very well--considering.

I came up with that little pearl of wisdom at about three in the morning... I'm calling them today for just that reason. Thanks! :2thumbs:

Obviously your dealer just finished servicing everyone's ATVs for hunting season and now it is on to snow machines so your lowly little Spyder will sit spinning a web of frustration until they find time for it. Be careful because two months is about when they will start working on jet skis and boats and then they will be telling you it will be another two months. I'd raise a really big stink and be sure to let them know that even though you won't be riding it in the winter you do have projects to complete.

That's one of my biggest concerns... I've got some vinyl here that needs to be laid down on the frunklid, some more "S" chromework to add, and all those hours of crying in the empty space in the garage...

If you want it sooner, call around down south and we can put it in my trailer and take a road trip. Collect the new the parts, your Spyder and we go. :doorag:

Take a bus back down when it's done and ride it home. :ohyea:

How about bringing it here? Coleman Power Sports in Woodbridge, VA (30 min. south of DC) has a terrific crew. You can even visit some of the sites. The new Air and Space Museum next to Dulles Intl Airport is awesome.

Perhaps

Just start going to the dealership and sitting in the lobby and talking to other people about the wait for servicing, that will move your time up. Everyday, have lunch in their show room.

They will love you! Also occasionally walk into the back and say "hows it coming along guys?" and walk out without waiting for an answer.

Unfortunately, most places in America only respond to people that are annoying, headstrong, and a problem. Its why the rarity is now customer service, and the commonality is customer dis-service.

Road Trip? Thats a good one.

I think you are Bing.

The opening song could go:

"On the Road to Fixaspyder, we have plenty hard type cider"

Here is where Arntufun can jump in--:roflblack:

Delay

Man that date just sucks big time ! I hate it when any kind of dealer puts us on a back burner because of " more important " things for them to do. Bet you a dollar to a donut that when it comes time to collect the money they won't dilly dally but then they probably already got the insurance money ?

I have been known to be a real PIA at stores or dealers. Wife refuses to go with me if a store gives me a hard time about something.....says I embarrass her....LOL I once drug a drill press all the way thru a Sears store because they were refusing to honor a warranty problem. They ended up giving me a brand new upgrade just to get me out of the store and when I got it home and assembling it a few bolts were missing.........the manager personally delivered them ......I think he was afraid for me to come back.

Talking to other customers while in the store usually gets their attention and get you taken care of fast .....but then it sometimes also gets the law called if you don't leave when requested . Want me to come up and assist you ???? LOL
