• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. I have the VHS for L & H Babes in Toyland. I also watch that one. It is actually pretty classy for an operetta. Good music and signing.:yes:

Babes in toyland

:yes:......Do you remember what the " Creatures " were called ..... Mike

Bogeymen

Without going back at the moment--I think they were the Bogeymen. How about the toys that Laurel squandered the money on??
That's what I thought also ( bogeymen ), but also thought that was too ordinary ..... well my recollection of them was they saved the day ........ Mike

"It's A Wonderful Life" hands down for me. I think the animations were way ahead of their time. And I have several personal connections with the film. First off, I always have been in love with Donna Reed, the movie was released the year I was born, I spent my adult life in the banking business and my name is Bailey. So, it is MY movie.....

Favorite Holiday Movie?

What;s tour favorite holiday movie? Mine is an Irving Berlin film, Holiday Inn, with Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Marjorie Reynolds, and Virginia Dale.

Two movies come to mind. Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo, and White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye.

Wow, I just can't imagine all of you big Macho Men sitting around the living room polishing your guns and loading you own bullets while you watch "It's A Wonderful Life" and "TheChristmas Story"! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

:lecturef_smilie: There WAS some gunplay in "It's A Wonderful Life"... nojoke

And "White Christmas" had a really nice Willys MB in a scene or two.

Mixed Nuts with Steve Martin, Madeline Kahn and Adam Sandler. A Christmas tradition for last 20 years or thereabouts.

Movie

I Enjoy 'It's a Wonderful Life', This has been a long time favorite of the family. LB:clap::clap::clap::clap:

It doesn't appeal to some, but "Love Actually" is one of our favorite Christmas films. It's certainly not a children's movie but it is, in its own right, funny and charming and sad and honest. To each his own even with regard to Christmas movies.
