• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fault Code P0707 ???

Well I dropped the bike off for the following;
Code P0707 (change GPS)
Code P1697 (Troubleshoot recurring message)
24K Service (Prepaid Service Contract)
Change Rear tire
Inspect Front pulley due humming noise and belt track change.

The first thing theye were gonna do was the GPS. They pulled the panels and while pulling the front pulley to get at the sensor, found the front pulley damaged and "frozen" to the shaft. Looks like Ill be getting a new shaft and pulley!
Did anyone who had this issue repaired get the new upgraded pulley? or are they just putting back the original parts to have it happen again?

Keep in mind that the P0707 code is for your GPS and can throw off mulitple codes for the systems it's assoicated with such as the transmission shifting circuit which uses the GPS feedback. Usually fixing the main issue such as the GPS will make the other codes go away also.

P0707 code

Got this code nultiple times this weekend, along with the "E" in the gear position indicator intermittently, and flashing "R" and "N" pilot lights.

When I got it to the dealer, the service manual didnt have this code listed, and the BUDS download showed it had not stored. I know I wasnt seein things, anyone got a clue what this code is?

Thanks in advance!

My Spyder is doing the same code? How the hell do I go about fixing it?

Fitting a new GBPS (gear box position sensor, as the service manual calls it) may do the trick.

I agree, the fix for mine seemed to be the gear position sensor. I on the other hand have cut all ties with the dealer I had working on the bike, before I did something stupid Id regret.

ProPowersports of Conroe, TX = Idiots.
