Fault code C006c and C0040 No Brake Lights

2019 RT Limited SE6 27,000 miles. Every time I come to a stop light Trike goes into Limp mode and I get fault codes C006C and C0040; Check engine flashing; and the skidding trike light on. I don’t have any brake lights. This trike is factory stock with no add ons at all. Please see pictures. Help please

Check your brake light switch. Not sure where it is on a 2019 but on my 2020 it is directly under the brake pedal. Mine failed at around 9000 miles. Same symptoms as yours is showing.

Mine was mud and gunk packed in the brake pedal switch. Same description.

Can someone direct me to a video that shows replacing the brake light switch on my 2019 RT Limited?

I decided to tow the trike to the dealer and have them replace the brake switch under extended warranty. One week later they said they will order a brake switch and a rivot that holds it on. That will take another week. Wish the dealers stocked more parts.
