• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fathers Day Weekend

Fathers Day is coming up and I'm going to honor my dad by taking a three day ride up to Central Washington to the HOW, my dad gave me the love of travel and adventure as a kid by telling me stories of his journey around the States back in the late 30s, on his Harley with a side car. I could sit a listen for hours as his stories were not just about him and what he did but of the people he met and the lives they led. He loved to travel and we took many summer trips to Montana to see our grandparents, I remember Yellowstone Park from the 60s . I have a number of old photos and have been to several of the places I can find. Here's to you Dad !

Very touching. Thanks for the memories and inspiration.

I celebrated Fathers Day, honoring my Dad with a 960 mile ride this weekend , we started out Friday morning in the rain for the first 2 1/2 hours then when we got to The Dalles it finally let up then we headed North. We made Pateros WA. for the Heart of Washington gathering is held and had a Great BBQ dinner with Karyl, AKA Murphy Brown. Had a great day ride on Saturday out to see Grand Coulee Dam and Dry Falls. On the way home when we got to Hood River we hung a left and circled Mt. Hood which is always a great ride around the mountain. Now I need to get some yard work done and get the bikes ready for our trip out to Deadwood in three weeks, can't wait I'm like a little kid waiting for Christmas.
