Take the Spyder to Bonneville or a similar Officially Timed Run, Then post your top speed.

Just giving the neighbors a break, I'm moto's only these days and the Spyder is the commuter. I'm the last thing they want to hear at 4:30 am everyday.

You don't have to be loud to sound good. I'm running a Yoshimura pipe. It's not that loud if you take it easy to moderate. It does come alive if you really get on it though. I just have trouble with the oversized Moped look and sound of the stock pipe. Plus you do get some performance improvement with a more free flowing exhaust.

I was going to try another, my Buell has an HMF, I won an HMF for the Spyder on ebay from RPO(race parts online)...looks like I and several others have had a problem with them not having an item to back their auction with, happy I got the money back. Tooo bad, an all black HMF with no name plates would have looked good.

Weird, just checked on that little fiasco and supposedly something has made it as far as Phoenix, but is scheduled for interception.:dontknow:
