• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Farkles are like chips

you can't have only one but if you did, what would it be.

I've been going thru this wonderful site for the last couple weeks. I see a lot of good comments on many farkles: bump skid, sway bar, gas cap, etc., etc.

In reality I don't know where to start. So my question is:

If you could do just one farkle, what would it be?

Looking past things like swaybar and mechanical bits - which I call necessities, not farkles, and which therefore don't come out of my farkle budget (lol)

Backrest for rider - maybe I take off too fast, :roflblack:but on the f3s I find it fantastic.

NO, NO and NO again … sensible things like sway bars I understand, but in the world of realities …. ?

If you are asking for just one "addition" to the spyder (I agree some of the things like the sway bar on a RT are not farkles, but necessities) I would have to say a skid plate.

I bought my spyder, new, and bottomed out leaving the dealers parking lot.

2-UP

of all the FARKLES i've either made or bought for my F3, i would say that the 2-UP SHOCK is by and far the best $ invested....
at 250 lbs, it ain't fun when you bottom-out, HURTZ.... :gaah:
but, ya, farkling is habitual and can be expensive as well... but hey, it's all about FUN....

This being my second spyder, I knew I needed certain things. Must haves are not farkles. Once I started a list, It got long. My first Lamonster Garage order was rather long.

Which is exactly why I cannot get another Spyder and must "suffer" with the one I have.;)

Your getting it figured out.:bowdown:

I put enough farkles on my first three :ani29: :spyder2: :f_spider:'s that I could actually have bought a fourth one if I had used the money for that.

Then...I got smart. Both current ones are farkled--but not as heavy.

PS: remember...farkles make the :ani29: yours. Others may not like or be willing to pay for what you have added. Essentially, they become a "sunk" cost. Worth 25% to zero on a trade or resale. Unless...you find the "right" person. I am still looking for him/her. :roflblack::roflblack:

Interesting....🤔

Being that we see say 4 categories one would have to prioritize....
1. Safety...... I started with lighting. Driving, fog, brake
2. Comfort..... I did seat, winshield, Palm cruise
3. Performance..... BajaRon bar, exhaust , air system, shock locators and shocks
4. Bells and whistles..... couple ram balls for GPS and go-pro

But if only one ..... exhaust

What are the main advantages of replacing the exhaust?
