• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It is designed to move the load forward so that not only does it balance on the hitch better, it makes the bike handle better by bringing the weight forward! I have one other item yet to unveil concerning this. This will NOT be mass produced. Every one will be fabricated at the shop by me. If you wish to get on the contact list email me at [email protected]. Use Spyder Rack as your subject line.
Also, this will come with an installation CD!

Can I just install this by itself? What else do I need?
Yes, you can. It will come with installation instructions and an install CD.
To install with your hitch already in place you need a cordless drill, multi-function screw driver, and a 9/16" combo wrench. If you mount it without using the hitch ball adaptor, the 9/16" wrench is all you need to install and remove. The reason for the drill initially is to secure the exhaust plate in the proper position. Since there are so many different exhaust pipe configurations, those will need to be mounted at the time of the install.

Let me give an example. Let's say you go somewhere and find a trailer you would like to buy. You simply use your 9/16" combo wrench and remove the rack, drop it into your trailer, and head out.

With the hitch ball adapter, you can make a more permanent install The adaptor is designed to give 4 different positions for the rack so you can move it as far forward as you can.
