Famous drive through Redwood is gone!

Bummer... This iconic redwood tree fell over due to the storms going on this weekend in northern Ca..
Glad I got to see it and walk through it before.

I know some people have pictures of going through it with their Spyders.

The good news is the one most people have driven through is not this one but the one in Leggett, CA and a part of the Spyders in the Redwoods tour!

Drive Through Tree

I have a photo of my Dad from 1938 with his Harley going through the Chandelier Tree, and last summer my wife, son and granddaughter drove through it. That makes 4 generations of my family that have went through it on bikes.

Sad news...

There are several but you have seen them for many years with antique car (now) to spyders driving through them. To see any of them go is sad cause it takes a very long time for nature to build another one...:sour:
