• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Falling fuel prices

Ripped off!!!!!!!

 Propane is $3.80... :gaah:

Bob,
You are getting RIPPED OFF. Propane is $1.38 here in No. Nevada. Its a byproduct of petroleum refining and used to be "flaired" off years ago.( and still is in some places.

It is not necessarily a good thing. There is an oil glut and oil prices are rumored to bottom out around 18-20 dollars a barrel. That was before Iran today announced they will boost production .

The break even for a lot of the oil companies is about $35 barrel .Many lay offs still coming.

Also think about the fact that OPEC is crashing the price in order to kill our oil industry. Just about the time when the US is able to produce enough oil and we can do without the Middle East the people that want to kill us are destroying our companies to get us back under control. Rant Over.
That's why I think they aren't cutting production. We should use their oil & keep ours in the ground. Then when the ME runs out we'll still have ours available!

1966 .28 cents a gallon with steak knives, green stamps, cleaned windshield
and a thank you

In 1966, the Senate adopted legislation to raise the nation's minimum wage. The amendment paved the way for a new rate of $1.40 an hour and expanded the wage to reach State and local government workers at public schools and nursing homes, as well as the construction industry.

that wasn't an executive order?

$1.44 for a gal of regular here today.. while I enjoy the prices of gas today... I am real apprehensive what the long term of rock bottom prices for gas will turn out to be.. what's the ole saying "" be careful what you wish for"" oil producers in the Dakotas are dropping like flies... when they go out of business.. the ban on the U.S. exporting fuel has been lifted......a war in the middle east would dry up the oil glut - pronto.. if the oil glut disappears ... LOOK OUT and BEND OVER !
