• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It is not necessarily a good thing. There is an oil glut and oil prices are rumored to bottom out around 18-20 dollars a barrel. That was before Iran today announced they will boost production .

The oil companies had no symphony for us consumers when the price of a gallon of regular was north of $4.50 /gallon. The price will swing back sooner than need be, you can count on that.

When bottled water was more than the cost of gasoline, $.48 / gallon, I knew it would not last, and it didn't.

Gas prices have been holding here at $2.33 per gallon for the last month or so.

I guess the monopoly wants to hold on to their money as the price per barrel continues to decrease. Now under $29.00 per barrel. When the price per barrel goes UP, the price is raised within an hour or so.

I do not feel bad for shell or any oil company.
putting $35 into the truck instead of$80 lets me have a big mac or 3

I saw that on the news today...

Here: it's at $2.16 for regular, and 93 octane is still at $3.00.

I'm not complaining: it now costs less to fill up the RAV4; than I used to spend on re-fueling the Spyder!

With gasoline here in putnam county ny @ $2.00-2.25 a gallon and heating oil $2.05 a gallon, why is kerosene $3.75 a gallon?

Regular in Westport, CT today is $2.02. Last heating oil delivery was $1.949/gallon, about half what it was a couple of years ago.

I paid $1.94 at the Gulf station near my home.

In the recent past, the cost of oil has been driven up by the big scare factor.
Now that the US has become energy independent again the scare factor has gone away and the cost of oil is more close to the true production value.

Inexpensive gas is a good thing. The cost of everything that is transported is less.

I filled my truck on Sunday for 1.59, but that was at a new station that just opened, most others are at 1.78 here in my area.

$1.75 in Galax VA yesterday. I'm getting killed with my oil stock but I'll suck it up. While we are all saving a few $$$$ each time we gas up consider what is going on for the workers in the oil fields that are getting laid off. Also think about the fact that OPEC is crashing the price in order to kill our oil industry. Just about the time when the US is able to produce enough oil and we can do without the Middle East the people that want to kill us are destroying our companies to get us back under control. Rant Over.
