Fallen Hero being buried tomorrow - Hays Kansas

Dear Spyderlover,

I wanted to post this here because I know many of you participate and are members of the Patriot Guard. At this time, I am not. However, one of our Fallen heros from the shooting down of our Helicopters in Afganastan(sp) is being laid to rest tomorrow in Hays Kansas. But I was just informed that the Westboro Baptist Church protesters are going to be there in Hays doing there same old wacked out antics.

So I am reaching out through the Spyder community to see if there are any Patriot Guards close to / or in Hays Kansas that could participate and show some support. I know the service is going to be held at Thomas More Prep High School where Warrant Officer Nichols went to High School. Your help and prayers are appreciated.

As a mother of a Fallen Hero and a PGR, I hope you can reach many riders. Try facebook. I'm sure the Kansas PGR will be there. We had PGR from 3 states show up for my son. That's why I joined. RIP and thank you for your service Hero

Usually, when the Westboro Baptist Church protesters say they are going to come to a funeral for a fallen hero, they don't show. They put the announcement out in the public to stir up emotions and scare family members and friends. 99.9% of the time they do not show (so I'm told). I am a member of the Warriors' Watch Riders and last week, I was at a service for a fallen hero, and the protesters made an announcement that they were going to show, but they didn't. They are the least of our worries.

Today in Philadelphia, PA, we held a memorial service for one of the fallen Navy Seals. The Westboro protesters said they would be there and they didn't show up. All the bike clubs supporting the military
were there: WWR, PGR, Bullets, Second Brigade, Combat Vets (to name a few). My concern today was
the heavy police presence and SWAT members on roof tops - looking for what or whom? Not that goofy
church!!

Thank you for your Service. As a long time member of PGR in Ohio, I believe the "local " PGR will be there to protect the family. I know Ohio Would. IF the family has requested the PGR to be present. The best advice is ignore the UG's (univited guests). They do keep people in vans to video things so they can sue.
I agree, they say they say are coming, but seldom do. The laws vary from state to state, but make the law enforcement and you know the local laws. (as above for sueing)
Surround the the UG with Flags , people and turn your backs on them so the Family never see them.
