• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Okay, technically not yet, but for those in the D.C. area, all I can say is WOW-- the weather has definitely changed. This weekend was like a switch, the heat and humidity just went poof. It even *smells* like fall out there, the air is nice and crisp.Supposed to warm up a bit later in the week, but then we'll sink right back to mid-70 highs and high-50 lows.The reason I mention this? I LOVE FALL RIDING. The best riding of the year, IMO. Cooler weather, crisp air, beautiful foilage... and best of all, thanks to the Spyder's three wheels, I don't have to worry when bombing through piles of leaves in the middle of the street.

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but the biking experience is TOTALLY different when weather is nice. When it's hot, the entire experience feels rough and uncomfortable. But when it's cool, it's like the bike feels smoother, rides better, and just overall much more enjoyable.

After our big storm, we experienced two great days of riding on Saturday and Sunday. We put in 219 miles for the two rides. Crisp cool air (50's) fall foliage, blue sky and sunshine.

This morning the thermometer said 30 degrees. There was frost in the low lying areas and on my car windows.

I love this time of the year... The Missus asked me if it was because of the cooler weather, the change of season, the approaching Holidays...
"No!"
"Football!" :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I agree, just got back from a nice brisk ride.....awesome and i dont have to jump into the shower the minute i get done. :clap:

The change in the weather is great :ohyea:.........56 deg. yesterday morning and 55 today. Unfortunately, probably no color this year since it was so dry.:( Oh well, maybe it will be better in the Black Hills and Yellowstone................we leave Saturday morning on Glory:yes::yes:

Woo hoo, definitely the absolute best riding weather so far this season started this last weekend. Went from high's in the mid 90's and heat index at 105 to highs in the high 80's with much lower humidity. I love the first commute when I am actually a little chilly... It's wonderful.

Down here you actually have people that store their bikes for the summer and break them out once "winter" happens.
