• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fall color pics with your Spyder?

Nice pics! Leaves are just about gone here already - mostly due to rain and wind storms we've gotten seems like every Saturday since we got back from TN.

Thanks for sharing

Wow, we are lucky to be living in East Tennessee. The trees popped here on the Cumberland Plateau about 4-5 days ago.

We were out yesterday too. Clear blue sky and beautiful leaves, but forgot the camera:-( Traffic was heavy too due to the closing of I-40.

Sorry guys Florida is a bit green still, however, I got some nice pics while on vacation. No spyder in them though, but they are still beautiful to look at. Enjoy!

Awesome pics, Lamont! Our colors in MN are past the peak. We had a very short color time, now mostly browns. Still great riding!!

:gaah: :gaah: :gaah:

Sure...all the colors are very pretty...I don't argue that...BUT!...they don't last long enough, AND up here in the North, it signals the beginning of really cold weather, limited sunlight, snow, slush, ice and general icky-ness! :(

While I try to ryde year-round, my rule of "no snow or salt on the roads" stands. I will wear extra clothing to stay warm, but no safety or corrosion issues!

I apologize if I "did poo poo" on the good fall vibes! Rock on my SpyderLovers family!

Went back to the Dragon this past weekend

There were some good pictures on Killboy and U.S.129. Saturday, under the "Trikes" group. The mostly black one is mine. We had 31 bikes from the Augusta, GA area. Stayed at the Two Wheels Inn in Robinsville, NC.
We would definately recomend it. Great bunch of folks!
Two ladies, one on a VTX and the other on a V-Rod, went down. Minor injuries. The V-Rod had to be trailered home.
Southern Cruisers, Chapter #62.

I am not surprised to read this. Some of the scariest, most incompetent riders in the world seem to gravitate to the Dragon...:gaah: After seeing a couple of Spyders nearly hit in 2008 by some idiot squid on a sport bike who could not seem to grasp the concept of staying on his side of the road, I am not in a real hurry to go back there.

And the problem is? Let the fun begin. Time to get the other machines fired up and ready to go. :ohyea:

This is one I took a couple weeks ago when I was on my way to work one morning. The resolution is not all that great, but you can see the snowy peak of Mt Mansfield in the east. It was a cold morning ride, but with the heated gear on along with the heated grips and the handlebar gaunlets on I stay comfortable.
