Fake chrome gone YAHOO

what i liked best about my 2013 RT S SM5 was the black on blue why did BRP put chrome on it i time to paint it
got some parts done

I did the side bag it black out the bike did not look good looks good with some fake chrome LOL still don't know if I want to do the front chrome on the frunk

The black and blur looks wonderful. What kind so paint did you use? I have 2010 rt-s and was wondering if anyone has toyed with powder coating the rims a flat black like the 2014. Will it work? Is power coating durable. Thanks

I've just had my "chrome" rims from my ST Ltd powder coated flat black and they look fantastic. Sorry the photo is not the best.

Chrome is very "old school"
Much prefer black with my white panels.

the blacked out look does look good on some colors but then not with all. Jmo. I like the powdercoat silver not crazy about the chrome. But as mentioned to each his own. Thats why they make all the colors...:roflblack:

No more CHROME

This is what my ST Ltd looks like with all the chrome removed, the wheels have been powder coated flat black and I have replaced the stock exhaust with a TBR carbon canister and had the stainless steel parts painted black.
